Volunteering Highland Award

In 2007 and 2008 the Inverness Blitz teamed up with Volunteering Highland to reward a very special volunteer.

This years winner was Claudio Correa and he was presented with his award by Regional Development Officer for Volunteering in Sport Dagmar Borrowman.

Claudio visited Volunteering Highland in August 2006 wanting to use his skills as a physiotherapist.  Through Volunteering Highland he was put in contact with the Inverness Blitz and he is now vital part of the organisation.  Coming a long way from Rio, Brazil Claudio now leads the Blitz Physiotherapy and Oesteopathy service for its members and has built up a reputation as a fantastic and valued member of the team!
