Coaching
Coaching is an extremely rewarding way to volunteer with Inverness Blitz, there are always vacancies for all levels of coaches, in many teams based all around the Inverness area. The British American Football Coaches Association has an established Coach Education Program (CEP) to assist all UK based coaches in developing their knowledge and skills.
The CEP is based on the following levels:
Level 1 - Assistant Coach
Level 2 - Positional Coach
Level 3 - Co-ordinator
Level 4 - Head Coach
Each level is assessed by a mixture of written and practical tests during BAFCA clinics. Clinics are run on a periodic basis according to members demand. Coaches must pass a level to progress to the next. It should be noted that in most cases the Inverness Blitz can access funding from Coaching Highland to help coaches gain qualifications and not have to pay out of their own pocket!

Volunteering as a coach with the Inverness Blitz, you will have access to information and funding in order to further your own personal coaching knowledge, as well as the thrill of working with players of all abilities and seeing them, young and old alike, enjoying the game and benefitting from your expertise and experience.
If you are interested in coaching or just want more information please do not hesitate to get in contact with us at the Inverness Blitz.
